Answers to some of the questions we frequently receive, if you still have a question please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team 

General

When and where does the event take place?

The event takes place from 4th October to 31st October at Partridge Lakes, Culcheth, Warrington, WA3 4AQ.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, there will be no entry without a ticket and tickets will not be purchasable at the gate.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Outside food and drinks will not be allowed on the trail, but we’ll have a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase.

What time is the entertainment on till?

We have live singers every night entertaining under our “hub” area.

Times may vary each night so keep your eyes on social media, and signage when you are at the event.

You are welcome to enjoy the entertainment under our tented hub area before or after your trail. We do ask you to enter the trail within 15 minutes of your allocated time.

Suitable for Wheelchair and pram friendly?

Yes, the event is wheelchair and pram friendly. However, please note that it takes place outdoors, the paths are a mix of stone/gravel & wood chip, they might be a bit bumpy and wet due to the outdoor nature of the event. There is one steeper uphill slope that wheelchair users may need assistance to navigate.

Can I arrive early/late for my booking slot.
You are welcome to arrive early to site, but we please ask you to only enter the trail within 15 minutes of your booking slot.

 

I can no longer attend, can I pass my tickets on to family/friends?

Yes, we are more than happy for you to pass your tickets on to a member of your family or friends if you cannot use them. Please be aware that every ticket has a unique bar code that is scanned at departures so you will need to ensure they have the ticket printed out or on their phone.

Can I take photos during the event?

Absolutely! Feel free to take photos and capture the magical moments. Don’t forget to share your photos on social media using our event hashtag #halloweenlakesidetrail

Is parking available at the event location?

Yes, there is plenty of parking on site however we ask you to pre book to allow us to ensure everyone has a space.

We have ample disabled parking spaces.

Car Parking is £5 if bought online – The on the Gate Price is £8

Walk Up Option Available but there is no local on road parking.

What happens if it rains?

In 2023, we lost one night due to a storm.

In the event of rain, subject to no flooding or danger to guests the event will be on.

In case of inclement weather, we advise dressing appropriately and bringing umbrellas.

However, please check emails, website or social media channels for any last-minute updates. 

Where we have to close the venue, we will offer to move your tickets or refund if no suitable date is available, however this is only in the case where we have to close the venue.

Can I get a refund if I now cannot attend?

No refunds are available for the event, you are welcome to gift your tickets to friends and family although we recommend you do not purchase tickets aside from the official website or people you know. Unfortunately scams are common on Social Media and we will not be able to honour tickets bought from third parties.

How can I stay updated about the event?

You can stay updated by subscribing to our newsletter, following us on social media, and regularly visiting our website for news, announcements, and updates.

What time does the event close?
Event closing time is 10pm.

Halloween Lakeside Trail

Is the event family-friendly?

Yes, the Halloween Lakeside Trail is family-friendly. It’s a great opportunity for families, friends, and individuals of all ages to enjoy a magical evening. Elements of the trail may be spooky, but not scary.

 

We also have our Terror Trail which is aimed at older children and adults and is designed to be scary.

Are costumes allowed?

Absolutely! We encourage guests of all ages to wear costumes and embrace the Halloween spirit. However, please ensure that your costume is comfortable and safe for walking. Please also remember that the Halloween Lakeside Trail is a family-friendly event, the event is designed to be spooky, not scary, so please be respectful of other guests.

How much is the admission fee?

Ticket Prices are subject to change.
Adults 16+ (£16-20)
Children 3-15 (£13-15)
Infants Under 3 – Free – Please still book a ticket.

Family Ticket – 2 Adults & 2 Children – (£59-£69) – Includes Parking

Family Ticket – 1 Adults & 2 Children – (£38-£46) – Includes Parking

How long do you think the trail will last?
We anticipate the trail to last 45-60 minutes. The average time spent on site is 90 minutes. You are welcome to arrive earlier or stay later and stay and enjoy the atmosphere and stalls by the fire pits for as long as you like. We have a live singer on every evening, to keep you entertained. Event closing time is 10pm.

 

Are pets allowed on the trail?

We are huge dog lovers, and know a family trip out wouldn’t be complete without your furry little ones! Well behaved dogs are welcome, must be on lead at all times, and must be friendly with children as this is a family friendly event.

Are there any age restrictions?

The Halloween Lakeside Trail is suitable for all ages. However, please be mindful that some children might find certain elements spooky. Parental discretion is advised.

What is the Halloween Lakeside Trail?

The Halloween Lakeside Trail is a mesmerizing outdoor event where you can stroll along a beautifully illuminated trail filled with Halloween-themed lights and decorations.

Terror Trail

Is the event family-friendly?

The Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail is not our family-friendly Main Trail.

The Terror Trail, is designed to be terrifying, and is only for the brave. 

We do welcome guests between 14-18 before 7pm, subject to being with an adult.

After 7pm its adults only.

Are costumes allowed?

We ask for no costumes, or fancy dress face coverings at our Terror Trail, this is due to staff being dressed up and we need to ensure we know the difference between customers and staff to keep you safe.

How much is the admission fee?

We anticipate the trail to last 30 minutes depending on how fast you try to get away. The average time spent on site is 90 minutes. You are welcome to arrive earlier or stay later and stay and enjoy the atmosphere and stalls by the fire pits for as long as you like. We have a live singer on every evening, to keep you entertained. Event closing time is 10pm.

 

Are pets allowed on the trail?

Unfortunately, although we are a dog-friendly venue we ask that no dogs come onto the terror trail, if some not so brave souls want to attend, but not do the trail, you are more than welcome to use the “hub” area and bring your dog to here. Please be aware though, that even outside the trail there may be the odd scary surprise.

Our advice is if you want to bring your dog, please also come along to one of the main trail nights.

Are there any age restrictions?

The Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail is only suitable for 14+.

 

The Trail is designed to be scary, so any children will have to be with an adult at all times, and have had parental consent.

 

After 7pm only 18+ are allowed.

What is the Halloween Lakeside Terror Trail?

This bone-chilling experience will have you screaming your way through a hauntingly illuminated trail. Brace yourself for creepy characters, spine-tingling surprises, and terrifying thrills lurking around every turn.
